GOD IS ON THE MOVE

God is on the move!

By Pastor Peter McLewin

We’re so glad we passed the vernal equinox and Spring is in the air. Flowers are beginning to bloom, trees are releasing their leafy covering and cool seasonal grasses are growing again. Many cultures, especially in the East, celebrate the New Year with the arrival of Spring. We wish all our friends from the East, especially Iranians, a happy New Year.

This morning I received a phone call from Lazarus Yeghazar. He was on his way home from celebrating New Year with Iranians in Turkey. Over the course of the celebrations, 300 Iranians received Jesus as their Savior and over 40 people were healed of various diseases. What a wonderful way to celebrate the New Year.

Spring in the West means that we’re just a few weeks away from celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Scott Gilbert, who spoke recently at our church, is currently in Israel. This week he posted about praying for a couple of people in the traditional garden tomb where Jesus was laid, and they were healed. What a great place for someone to be healed.

Rev. Noaman Serosh from Pakistan will be the speaker at our Sunrise Service. He always has exciting stories to share about the power of Jesus touching and healing people. He recently returned from preaching in the Ivory Coast, a country on the east coast of Africa known as “the bulge.” He’ll share stories with us of people who understood the resurrection of Jesus Christ for the first time and received Him as their Savior. (See front page.)

I’m looking forward to hearing my friend Ryan Ellis speak at Power Surge. This is the first time we have had a graduate from the International House of Prayer in Kansas to speak at Power Surge. If you’ve not heard Mike Bickle preach, I encourage you to listen to “Encountering the Heart of the Father” on YouTube. Mike is the founder of IHOP in Kansas. Ryan carries the “heart of the Father” when he ministers to people. (See page 3.)

Recently I received an amazing prophetic word for our ministry. We have seen a significant increase in miracles. Two weeks ago there were 14 children in Superbook Kids and Academy. God is on the move! Do your best to invite friends to celebrate the goodness of the Lord with us. I have done my best to follow Paul’s example to the Ephesians.

“You yourselves know how I lived among you the whole time from the first day I set foot in Asia serving the Lord with tears and with trials… how I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you in public and from house to house.” Acts 20:18–20
