The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. Psalm 126:3
Ice Breaker: Do you know the meaning of your name? Your children’s names?
God has many names, each one revealing another facet of His amazing character.
By naming himself in these ways he wants us to know and experience Him being these things for us.
Jehovah Jireh- God my provider- Gen. 22
Jehovah Shalom- God of peace- Thess 3:16. Isaiah 9:6
El Roi- The God who sees- Gen. 16:3
Jehovah Nissi- The Lord our Banner (victory in warfare)- Exodus 17:15-16
Yahweh Rapha- God that heals- Exodus 15: 22-26

When we are facing life’s challenges, it’s helpful to ask God
“God, who do you want to be for me in this situation?”
